Private Information Manager / Firefox Support

Problem:

Unable to use Firefox with PIM application

Solution:

Firefox is not currently supported for use with PIM.

Private Information Manager is integrated with Microsoft® Internet Explorer to support display and utilization of the Favorites that it stores.

Users can drag-and-drop favorites from the browser onto your Private Information Manager Favorites.

Many of the Private Information Manager features will only work with the browser set as the default.

If another Web browser was installed after Internet Explorer, it may be necessary to reset Internet Explorer so that it will be the default browser.

To reset Internet Explorer to its defaults:
  1. Select Tools > Internet Options.
  2. Click the Programs tab.
  3. Click the Reset Web Settings button.
