TVTonic works great with Windows Media Center or within your Internet Explorer web browser. And, TVTonic is designed to be navigated with a remote, just like your TV.

Installation Instructions

  1. Install TVTonic: click the 'Install TVTonic' button above and follow the instructions.
  2. Activate TVTonic: at the end of the installation process, you will be taken to a web page where you will be activated in our system.
  3. Subscribe To Channels: once TVTonic is installed and activated, you will choose what channels you would like to subscribe to.

System Requirements

  • Hardware
    • CPU - 1 GHz 32-bit processor minimum (2GHz 32-bit processor recommended; 64-bit currently not supported)
    • RAM - 1 GB (2 GB recommended)
    • Hard Drive - minimum of .5GB per subscribed channel plus an additional 1GB of free space
    • Video Card - support for DirectX 9 graphics, minimum of 128MB RAM, WDDM Driver, Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware, 32 bits per pixel
  • Software
    • OS: Windows Vista (Ultimate or Home Premium recommended), Windows XP Home & Pro SP2; 64-bit OSs currently not supported
    • Media Center: Vista Media Center and XP Media Center with Rollup 2
    • Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher
    • Windows Media Player 10 and higher (download here)
    • QuickTime 7.2 or above is required for QuickTime video playback (download here)
  • Bandwidth
    • Broadband Internet connection required (cable, DSL or similiar; 500kbps throughput recommended)
    • "always on" connection for the best experience
    • TVTonic delivers large video files; it may use a lot of bandwidth. TVTonic is not recommended for people using dial-up or bandwidth-limited broadband accounts.
